Safety Practices at Advanced Concrete Cutting & Coring

Advanced Concrete Cutting & Coring, Inc. believes that the personal safety and health of our employees is of primary importance. We urge all employees to work together to achieve our goal of making the workplace as safe as possible.

We believe that establishing a safety culture starts at the beginning of the hiring process at ACC&C. All new employees must have a clean driving record, pass a DOT physical and pre-employment urinalysis. Upon hiring, new employees must complete an orientation which covers all aspects of health and safety on the job. Some of the items covered in this training include, but are not limited to:

  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Job Hazard Assessment
  • Fall Protection
  • Respiratory Protection Program
  • Hearing Conservation Program
  • Excavation Operations and Trench Shoring
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Scaffolds & Work Platforms
  • 10 OSHA (All Employees)
  • 30 OSHA (All Supervisors)
  • 500 OSHA (Safety Director)

In an effort to keep up with changing policies and provide the safest work environment in a fast growing company, we have added a Corporate Safety Director to our management team. The Corporate Safety Director will ensure the safety of each individual employee and each customer’s job site through training, education and observations.
